It is good for one to make sure that before the date of travel draws near, they will be at a point where all the travel documents are ready and there will be nothing at all to stop them. For those who wait by procrastinating to do things at the last minute, they will be shocked to find out that it will not be possible at all to travel if the passport is not ready at the day when they are going on a trip. It is good for one to make sure that they take a point of applying for a passport early enough so that they can get them in time. A month before you travel will make you be in a place where you have a passport ready for you to travel. When I was fifteen years of age, my father whom I adored with my all, got deployed to the army for a second time and this time, he never came back. Due to this, my mother fell in to a major depression state and she got involved with the meanest man in the planet. She even made him move in and this man started hitting me because apparently I was spoilt and needed to be taught manners. One day he hit me so hard that I got hospitalized and this is when I decided that I was going to depend on myself. That is when I checked up on how a teenager can get emancipated and I got a job and started saving money. I got a good lawyer who gave me my freedom despite the adamancy of my mother. When I moved to my own apartment, I had to change the address on my passport. So I called the same lawyer who helped me out and I asked how could I make a passports address change. She told me that I had to go to the passport agency and fill a form an on that form, I was supposed to put in the new address and also to include the changes that took place like the independence and the passing of my father and the likes like that. |

I find myself excited at the thought of spending my Christmas in Aspen. It would be my first out of the country experience and riding a Boeing airplane excited me as if nothing ever did before. I have been riding airplanes all my life because my Dad is a pilot but I only ride small Cessna ones. Riding a big plane and going to an international airport would be awesome. I heard from my friends that there is a big duty free there where I can buy stuffs like Hannah Montana signature t-shirt or Gucci designers jacket although I have to show a passport authorization letter since I&rsquom still underage but after that, well, I can go and spend my time in Aspen. I just hope that I pack the right outfit since I heard that it is very cold there and it rained snow most of the time. I brought a pink Roxy snowboard pants and jacket with me and a cool Timberland hiking boots, I just have to ask my mom if I can borrow her Oakley&rsquo shade so that I can create a smashing outfit. I just hope there are handsome boys there |

After the recent increase on the processing fee for new passports, the Department of Foreign Affairs strikes again. A memorandum was issued advising that there will be a 15% increase on the passport renewal fees effective next month. The local agency stated that the increase will be beneficial for them as they plan to upgrade their computer systems and also provide additional training to their staff. This has caused a lot of overseas workers to just shake their heads and started adding a few more hundreds to what they have to pay to the counter. Rain Gomez, an overseas worker in Qatar stated that he has no objection for the local agency to increase the passport renewal fee as long as they can see the improvement when it comes to the equipment and more importantly, in the service and not on some pockets of corrupt officials in the agency. As per the Department of Foreign Affair&rsquos record, the months of June and July show that 80% of the transactions made were passport renewal for overseas workers and the remaining 20% were the various passport transactions. The agency assures the public that improvements will be seen by the second quarter of 2011. |

Everyone loves to travel specially made and since I am going to Southeast Asia in just a few months I had to get a passport in order to go there. If you have a passport british virgin islands and it is at least six months before it expires than you're good to go. If you have less than six months then you might want to either get it renewed or apply for a new passport since most countries require that your passport be good at least six months after your visit. Visas are also different for each country that you visit, you need to check with the website for the country you plan on visiting us see what their visa requirements are and British citizens are basically alike American citizens able to go places that people in other countries can't go without restrictions. It is easier for a British passport holder to go to Canada than it would for someone from China or other places like that so if you plan on traveling anywhere in the world be sure and check any restrictions that may be required in the country you plan on visiting |
