I checked my Facebook this morning only to find out that therees something wrong with my account. I probably need to find out why my facebook notifications not working. A friend sent me a text message last night, asking me to view the photos she had me tagged in. To my surprise, I received not even a single Facebook notification. I had to look for my friendds account and check out her albums before I was able to have a glimpse of the photos she was telling me about. This has to be resolved immediately or I wonnt enjoy Facebook anymore. Checking this social networking site has become one of my regular leisurely activities and without getting informed about updates on my account, this is not going to be an interesting to any further extent. Nonetheless, I am still confident that this can be resolved in time. This must have happened to some other people and might get back to normal in a few days. I will give it until Monday and if this does not return as it used to, I will report this to the management of Facebook. |

I grew up in a large metropolitan city. Everywhere I would go I would see graffiti on walls, dumpsters, on the ground, and anywhere else these graffiti artists would see fit to tag. I hated it. I thought it just made our city look ugly and I figured nobody really cared who these people were so it made no sense for them to out their names everywhere. About a year and a half ago I was waiting for the train on my way to work. I happened to look ahead of me at the graffiti and realized it was not just a name it was art. The name was merely a signature so you would know who created it - such as Banksy. The boldness of the designs and the colors used were great. Looking at them I started to wonder about the back stories of the artists. I wanted to know what they looked like and where they came from. Since then every time I see graffiti I know it is about self expression and not about tearing up the place I live in. |
