A Daughter's Concern for Her Busy Father

It was a busy Thursday afternoon at my dad's construction firm. The people are all rushing, hoping to beat deadlines of clients. People there could barely take a break to eat, just to make sure that clients have no reason to complain. I dropped by to bring lunch for daddy and for some of his friends, knowing that he would be too busy to go out for lunch. I asked dad how he was and he told me that they were rushing to complete the slating and tiling of this project they were working on. At least he was positive that they were going to make it just in time. When dad saw that I was worried for him, he quickly assured me that there was nothing to worry about and that everything will be fine. He said that it was just a matter of time for their projects to be completed. Dad promised me that after this, we are taking a vacation so we can all relax and unwind. Truly, dad deserves a break, hopefully it will be sooner than later.
